Teresa Earnhardt hosted the second annual Dale Earnhardt Day at the headquarters of their company, Dale Earnhardt, Inc.
The day-long event from 8 a.m. - 9 p.m. was in conjunction with Dale's birthday as a celebration of his life and racing accomplishments.
In 2002, more than 12,000 fans attended the inaugural Dale Earnhardt Day.
For the second time ever, fans were allowed behind the walls of Dale Earnhardt, Inc. to view race cars and cars from Dales
Classic Car Collection in the Interior Showroom. Some of these have never been seen by the public and are being put on display
for this special occasion.
There was also a special musical display in conjunction with the
upcoming Dale Earnhardt Tribute Concert at Daytona
International
Speedway on June 28th. Albums, autographed guitars and photos from Dale's personal collection were on display
in the Retail Showroom. Fans were able to see what types of music Dale enjoyed and some of the stars he and Teresa met, too.
