Every February
18th, Dale Earnhardt, Inc. will honor and pay special tribute to its fallen leader, by hosting a Silent Candlelight Tribute,
on the grounds of the facility that Dale created and enjoyed.
Fans, who are unable to attend are asked to light a
candle in their homes on this day, and wherever they are, to take the time to remember Dale's remarkable spirit.
The
2003 Tribute will begin at Dusk when fans remembering Dale will be given candles and commemorative decals honoring their visit
to DEI in memory of Dale.
Each fan will be encouraged to stand in silence on the facility grounds remembering Dale's
spirit, and signature boards will be made available to those who wish to express their feelings in words on this day.
At
8:00 PM, Chaplain Dale Beaver will offer a fews words of inspiration before the Tribute ends at 9:00 PM.
Fans who
